Classic wet plate, albumen 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photo. Excellent half-view, seated portrait of Abraham Lincoln, taken in 1864. Backmark: E. & H.T. Anthony, New York, made from a photographic negative in Brady's National Portrait Gallery. Some light discoloration towards the top of the image, clipped corners, and a light scratch to the bottom right corner, otherwise fine condition.
